Mark Ortiz Automotive is a chassis consulting service based in Kannapolis, NC. Mark has worked with a number of professional drivers in both road racing and oval track series (pavement and dirt). He is a regular contributor to Racecar Engineering magazine, and he serves as an advisor to the motorsports engineering program at UNC-Charlotte. BC Engineering & Design LLC are providers of mechanical engineering design, analysis, and inspection services. They are the only FARO-licensed contract service provider in the Southeastern U.S., so we use them for all our in-house CMM measurement work. Chuck and Jim Bown's Stock Car Racing Career Development school in Asheboro, NC. Training courses are designed to prepare students for jobs with stock car racing teams such as those in the NASCAR series. Training is primarily hands on, and is conducted in a real race team shop. Course work includes fabrication, mechanics, chassis set up, guest speakers, and much more.
